How it all began
Way back yonder, there was a lad, who one day started to learn how to play hockey at the ripe age of 20. Oh how he loved to be on that ice. Day after day, years in a row, he would be on the pond after night shift for hours, learning how to improve each day with the help of his best pal.
Fast forward five or so years, both pals had moved far away from one another, changing careers, starting families. But the hockey love lived on, and that lad eventually entered his first league.
The thrill! In the very last game of the 2020 regular season, he finally scored his first recorded career goal! He was alive! Not only did he manage to score his first goal, but it helped his not so great team somehow squeak into the final playoff spot.

Anyways, season over.
Jump one year ahead, to the arrival of the most beautiful little baby girl you've ever seen, and suddenly, there was more important things.
Oh how to enjoy being a Father, but still be able to enjoy my love of the game?
Hello Facebook, maybe you can help me out? I wonder if anyone local would want to get together Sunday evenings for some pickup on a weekly or so basis.

Little did I know, that not only is Norwich a great little town, it's also a great little town with the same love for hockey I had!
And so here we are, having survived the COVID-19 lockdown, going into our FOURTH season, with an improved front office organization, and a league expansion from 6 to 8 teams, ready to get on the ice, and kick ass, playing the game we all love!
